Yogic Pose for Asthma Management

Cobra Pose (bhujanasana) : Raise your trunk on the strength of arm muscles. You inhale while raising your torso, while exhale while lowering it. It improves breathing and manages the asthma without any side-effects.
Sleeping Thunderbolt Pose (sputa vajrasana): Sit in thunderbolt pose with straight back. While balancing your body, turn shoulders towards floor. Place both hands on thighs. Breathing is slow & rhythmic which is beneficial for asthma patients.
Kandharasana (shoulder pose): Inhale while uplifting your body and exhale while releasing your pose with outstretched legs. It improves the functioning of the lungs and also removes disorders of the thyroid gland.
Purification of Nadis (astral tubes)
It means purification of flow of energy. When your nadis are impure, the inhale oxygen doesn’t reach to the deep layers of your respiratory system. The yoga teaches how to purify the nadis and reducing asthma by pranayama.

Bhastrika pranayama: It starts from sitting in lotus pose with body, neck and back in erect pose. A hissing sound is produced when you exhale with stronger force. Do few rounds in the morning or evening.
