Pauline  has been a professional teacher, teaching in the public and private school system intermittently for thirty years. Her experience in the classroom with early childhood, elementary and high school education and as a music specialist has been directly influenced by her commitment to yoga.

She began practicing yoga when she was 21 and received her teachers’ certification from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Paradise Island Bahamas. Between 1985 and 2004 she completed over 60 intensive programs and workshops at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox Massachusetts. She is a certified Kripalu DansKinetics® teacher, 2002 and is currently completing her 500 hour Professional Level Certification at Kripalu.

Since 2000 she has studied with Yogi Amrit Desai at the Amrit Institute in Florida, did advanced training in Amrit Yoga in Arizona and further study at Kripalu in Lenox Ma. This past winter, /08 she completed a month long work/study at the Sivananda Yoga Retreat in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Pauline’s eclectic background is further influenced by her study of Raja Yoga Mediation, advanced Kriya with the Art of Living Foundation, and her 20 years as a student of a Course in Miracles. As a holistic practitioner and teacher, her ultimate purpose is to connect with Spirit. Opening the heart, stilling the mind and receiving intuitive direction are the vital components of Spirit Yoga.

Pauline has a Master of Education in Educational Psychology and Human Relations from Mount St. Vincent University (05), is an Orff Schulwerk Specialist and is working toward a Master of Music Education from the University of Calgary.
